All other art forms had already been judged; but for the performances the rule was make or break.
For us it was a projected film (on an unrolled circle) of the 'live' performance that we had already recorded in the studio. Some of it could be seen in 3D. Douwe then steps into the projection on the spot and starts writing there.
The conditions were not optimal; there was too much additional light to show off the film properly. The audience was very curious and so the circle could not be rolled out to the right place. so only part of the projection could be seen.
Yet people watched very attentively; During the 3D part, the volunteers and Rietje handed out glasses with a red and a blue lens.
This was eagerly used.
In the end we didn't win; not really a problem because it's about the art and not about winners or losers.
Wel een beetje jammer omdat winnen net iets meer contacten had opgeleverd.
The next day we quickly set up the 'live' machine so that the performances could continue.
